Job Duties: Develop tests, methods, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance and serviceability standards. Author and execute test cases and testing methodology for manual and/or automated tests. Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action. Ensure that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved. Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. After testing provide feedback to developers on potential changes. Participate in the execution of procedures for ensuring the quality and serviceability of new features and releases of software.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Science or a closely related field such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems Management plus 4 years of post-bachelor's degree IT experience which must have included 1 year of experience in all of the following: performing testing using REST APIs and Graphical User Interfaces; maintaining Oracle and MS-SQL databases using PL-SQL commands and ensuring data integrity after backup and restoration operations on the databases; developing and executing test cases and testing methodology for manual and/or automated tests utilizing Junit, GoogleTest framework, and the Sikuli automation tool; designing, implementing, and maintaining an automation test environment in JAVA; maintaining test environments using VMware products like vSphere and vCenter; working in Agile development and testing environments for the software development lifecycle; and, performing installations on Windows and Linux operating systems and maintaining the machines in a backup and recovery environment. Within this experience, must have any amount of experience in Scrum, Waterfall methodologies including Version One and HP-Moneta Scrum planning tool, Quality Center and Bugzilla / JIRA defect management tool.
