Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
oCreates and maintains client files in accordance with office procedures.
oPrepares ID cards, certificates of insurance, Accord applications, binders, and cancellations under the direction of more senior-level staff.
oOversight of various master policy programs that will include processing and client handling from start to finish.
oMay be first line of answering billing questions from clients and insurance company personnel regarding Master Policies with assistance from the Accounting Dept.
when necessary.
oCompile and process incoming mail including scanning to corresponding Account Managers, billing documents to the accounting department, etc.
This also includes the use of a Pitney-Bowes mail scanner.
oLearns to compile data for the Account Management Team to use in proposals and coverage checklists.
May also assist in preparing proposals when needed.
oManages workflow to remove as much service work from the senior-level account managers and producers as possible to support the team to your utmost ability.
oVerifies that documentation (policies and endorsements,) and information requested are accurate and processed correctly in Agency Management System (Applied Epic).
oLearns to perform policy checks, audit checks, and the process for completing coverage checklists and coverage recommendation letters (under the direction of senior-level staff)oVerifies the accuracy and software processing of requested documentation (policies and endorsements).
oProcesses premium and non-premium endorsements, follows up with carriers for outstanding policies, endorsements, corrections, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
oGood written and verbal communication skills.

oAbility to successfully interact with a variety of people and provide high-level customer service to our clients via phone, email, etc.

oMust be able to read, analyze and reconcile financial reports/processes.
oPossess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
oMust be Self-sufficient and work well on their own while staying on task without in-person supervision.

oMay be required to work overtime as necessary to meet renewal deadlinesEducation and/or
Experience:
oHigh School graduate or equivalento0-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the administrative or insurance industry.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
oP&C License is generally not required at this level but may be required per state law and willing to obtain if necessary.

The base salary range for this position is $43,000-$73,000.
The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location.
Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
